Success or failure: which is more destructive?
If you look to others for fulfillment,
you will never truly be fulfilled.
If your happiness depends on money,
you will never be happy with yourself.
Be content with what you have;
rejoice in the way things are.
When you realize there is nothing lacking,
the whole world belongs to you.

Hello, Human: I can't even imagine what you must be going through in your country. I can only hope you come through the difficulties safely and unharmed.
I believe the lessons of the Tao ~ or any of the other truly great spiritual lesson books ~ are not easy. They only appear easy when we are not tested. But if the lessons are applied in difficult times, their wisdom will be proven.
It is the fact that these books and their lessons have survived thousands of years that is the proof of their spiritual endurance.
